Overview+ Terms of Service

Effective October 3, 2026

These terms cover your use of Overview+ (listed on the App Store as “Overview+ Calendar”) and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Overview+.

The short version

• Overview+ is free for 14 days, then a one-time $4.99 purchase unlocks it for good. No subscription.
• Your calendars, tasks and contacts stay yours, on your devices and in the accounts you connect. We don’t collect them.
• The app is provided as it is. Keep your important dates in your calendar accounts, which remain the source of truth.

The App Store terms

Overview+ is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms. Where the two differ, Apple’s agreement applies to the license itself. Apple is not responsible for Overview+ or its support; questions go to us.

Free trial and purchase

• Free trial. Overview+ is free to use in full for 14 days from when you first open it.
• After the trial. Without the unlock, the app becomes read-only: you can still see your calendars and tasks, but creating and editing in Overview+ is turned off. Your data is never deleted or held back; it stays in your calendar and task accounts.
• One-time unlock. A single in-app purchase of $4.99 (or the local equivalent shown in the App Store) unlocks Overview+ permanently on your devices signed in to the same Apple Account, and with Family Sharing where it is turned on.
• Payment and refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restoring. If you reinstall or change devices, use Restore Purchase in the app.

Your data and connected accounts

Overview+ shows and edits information that lives in Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, Contacts and, if you connect it, your Google account. That information belongs to you and stays in those services. How the app handles it is described in our Privacy Policy.

When you connect Google Calendar or Google Tasks, your use of Google’s services is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service. Changes you make in Overview+ — creating, editing, completing or deleting events and tasks — are made in your accounts, the same as if you made them in Apple’s or Google’s own apps, and sync to your other devices. Disconnecting an account removes it from Overview+ without deleting anything from the account.

Daily Briefing and generated text

The Daily Briefing summarizes your day using Apple’s on-device features. Generated summaries can be incomplete or wrong. Always check your calendar for the details that matter, such as times, places and deadlines.

Weather and other information

Weather comes from Apple Weather and place results from Apple Maps. They are provided for convenience, may be inaccurate, and shouldn’t be relied on for safety decisions.

Using Overview+

Use Overview+ lawfully and for your own personal or work planning. Don’t try to copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, interfere with how it works, or use it to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.

Ownership

Overview+, its design, name, icon and this website belong to us. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond using the app as described here.

No warranty

Overview+ is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that events, tasks, reminders or notifications will always be shown or delivered on time. Notifications depend on your device’s settings and iOS, and syncing depends on Apple, Google and your other account providers.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, missed appointments or lost profits, arising from your use of Overview+. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Overview+ at any time by deleting it. We may stop offering or updating the app; if we do, the copy you have will keep working as long as Apple’s systems allow.

Changes

If these terms change, we’ll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use Overview+ after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the place you live requires otherwise.
